It’s been a month since Swear You Won’t Tell? hit the bookstores, online and offline, and I’ve been a busy girl since. Cutting the ribbons of spaceships, breaking coconuts at movie mahurats and gracing the red carpet at Cannes in gowns that look the illegitimate children of a box of tissues and a buttercream factory. #authorlife NOT.
But I have been busy though. Sometime last year, IVM Podcasts approached me to do a podcast for them on a topic that is very close to my heart: How being a mother is not the Nirupa Roy Endorphin Factory that movies have us believe. So naturally, I immediately said yes. Well, stretching the truth a bit there. Actually, I said “Pod-whaa?”, then had the concept explained to me and then I said yes.
And look! Here we are! Don’t be fooled by the expression, I’m a lot more excited than that! (Note flagrant use of exclamation marks.)
New episodes come out every Monday, on the IVM Podcasts website and app, so listen in as I get a bunch of other fun women to talk about the joy and sanity of motherhood – or rather, the complete lack thereof.
